2026 – A New Year

It’s hard to believe a new year is upon us. How we thank God for the four centers, their directors and the volunteers. Pray especially for the Access Center in Madison, as they need a new director. The workers are on the front line and are battling against the powers of Satan.
We thank God for Pastor Andy and Nancy Buhrow. They have now retired from the BFLM, and we thank you for your wonderful service for the Lord. Please pray for a new director. It is vital for this ministry to go forward. The Lord has someone out there to take over this important work. As we wait upon a new director, we are having members of the BFLW board presenting the ministry to churches. Pray that we will be a blessing and encouragement to these churches, which are the backbone of this great ministry.
Praise the Lord for God’s wonderful love for all of us. In I John 4:10 “Here in is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us…”. God even loves the mother who kills her baby. The purpose of our centers is to show the love of Christ and to give the precious gospel to those who need Christ. Satan wants to destroy life (John 10:10), but God comes to give life.
Our Lord demonstrates His love and compassion to the woman caught in adultery. In John 8:10-11, (vs. 10) “When Jesus had lifted up Himself, and saw none but the woman, He said unto her, ‘Woman, where are thine accusers? Hath no man condemned thee?’”. (vs. 11) “She said, ‘No man, Lord.’, and Jesus said unto her, ‘Neither do I condemn thee: go and sin no more.’”.
I know I am speaking to the choir regarding the awful sin of abortion. Solomon states in Proverbs 6:17…”hands that shed innocent blood…”. God hates sin, and abortion is an abomination to the Lord. But before we condemn the scribes and Pharisees of judging the woman, we must look at ourselves and examine our hearts. Do we have a tendency to hate the sin and the Sinner? After all, aren’t we all just sinners saved by grace? Where would we be without the grace of God? We must hate the sin of abortion, but love the Sinner to Christ. Recently our church (Lone Rock B.C) started a new ministry to the community. Once a week, we have a no-cost “soup supper”. We have seen many come out and enjoy delicious soup and desserts made by our ladies. We enjoy their company and do not pressure them to make a decision for Christ or come to church. But praise the Lord we have seen several of the folks come out to church. Now we have an opportunity to talk to them about the Lord. Pray for those who have heard the gospel, that they would be saved. Praise the Lord for those men and women who have gotten saved through the ministry of the centers and through the AIM program. God bless all of you who love the Lord and desire to bring the lost to Christ.
