August 2022 Prayer Letter

Titus 2:14 refers to Christians as “a peculiar people” meaning beyond usual or special. As the world gets farther and farther away from the standards set forth in the Word of God, Christians ought to be more distinguishable that ever before in history. (I imagine that Noah really “stuck out” in his day.) It shouldn’t surprise us when people want to justify something that the Bible calls sin, like abortion, and attack those who are disagree with them. We need to make sure our beliefs and convictions line up with the Word of God, and are prepared to defend them when the time comes.
This month we will be hosting the Summit for all present and potential pregnancy center workers at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown. The dates are August 19th and 20th and it starts at 1:00 PM on Friday and ends around noon on Saturday. We plan to have one workshop on starting a pregnancy center in your church on Saturday morning. We need to know how many are coming as we are planning a banquet for all attendees on Friday evening. Please contact me at info@bflw.org or call 608-269-3352 or 608-780-4576. There is no cost for the summit.
I appreciate all those who have been praying for me and my health. I have been doing better lately, but am not out of the woods yet. I have a busy month scheduled and would appreciate prayers that I might be able to accomplish everything I have planned.
Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.
In Christ,
