To those of average curiosity about the wonders of nature, it is likely that two great mysteries have stirred the imagination; and each concerns a birth. Who has not gazed into the heavens on the starlit night and wondered about the birth of the universe? And who has not been stimulated by the sight of…

The topic of abortion is widely acknowledged to be a complex issue. Good, passionate people fight on both sides, both desperately striving to protect the meaning and sanctity of human life. This, however, is not true (Kreeft 1). G. K. Chesterton once said, “Moral issues are always terribly complex—for someone without principles.” Abortion is not…

Biblical revelation, embryological science, and logical philosophical reasoning all converge on the conclusion that human life begins at conception. In contrast, all opposing worldviews ultimately implode when subjected to even basic research in any of these fields. When thoroughly analyzed, each discipline independently affirms that the unborn possess a complete and unique human identity from…

Imagine the beginning of a life. Scientifically, one would see the sperm cell and egg cell uniting. When these two cells combine, a new human life is formed. A whole new person. But compare the uniting of a sperm and an egg to a lightbulb and the socket on a lamp. When one plugs or…

It all started in the garden. Satan’s hatred for humanity was on full display. I’m convinced that Lucifer heard God’s warning: “…in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”  (Genesis 2:17) The very first thing  the devil does is to convince Eve to take from THAT tree. Preparing for the Coming of Christ We just came through the Christmas season where we as churches and families celebrated the wonderful birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As I thought of that great world-changing event, I started to consider all that God had done to bring that event to come to pass.…

John 1:1-4  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  (2)  The same was in the beginning with God.  (3)  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  (4)  In him was life; and the life was…

Ezekiel 22:30 And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.  This verse is taken from a passage that God is addressing the rampant wickedness of His people, displayed in…
