December 2020 Prayer Letter

Proverbs 3:5 = “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” It doesn’t seem like we actually do this until we have nothing else to trust in. It’s too bad we don’t have more confidence in the Lord’s ability to take care of us than we do. My God is still in charge and I am still seeking to follow Him in everything I do and He is still orchestrating everything that has to do with me in a way that will best benefit my life. I will just have to relax and watch how He works it all out.
November was another blessed month for Nancy and me. We were able to be in 4 churches and present the ministry of Baptists for Life of Wisconsin. Even though we have been doing this for over 8 years, it is still a real blessing to share this work and each time we come away encouraged and recharged.
I was able to go deer hunting, but someone forgot to tell the deer, so I escaped the burden of having to skin and cut it up. Oh, well, maybe next year. The way I do deer hunting isn’t really hunting. I just ambush one if it come by where I am at.
I only have one church scheduled in December. I will be spending much time getting ready for next year. I hope to be able to address the dangers of planned parenthood and the philosophy of Margaret Sanger, who founded that organization, so people can see that program for what it really is. My message for next year will be on the blessings of adoption.
I trust you all had a great Thanksgiving and had much to be thankful for, and that you will have a blessed Christmas as you celebrate our Savior’s birth. Keep praying for this important ministry.
Yours for His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow—Executive Director—Baptists for Life of Wisconsin
