December 2025 Prayer Letter

Prayer Letters

Luke 2:7 = “And she brought forth her firstborn Son, wrapped Him in swaddling clothes, and laid Him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.” It is noteworthy to see that Jesus’ life here on earth started at conception just like everyone of us did. Jesus existed in the womb of Mary for about 9 months making that part of every human being’s life as significant and important as every other stage of development. Every baby conceived ought to have the opportunity to live for as long as God intended.

As this year comes to a close I am looking back at 13 1/2 years of serving the Lord as director of Baptists for Life of Wisconsin and I am filled with gratitude and fulfillment; Gratitude for the opportunity of serving the Lord, gratitude for being able to share the ministry in so many churches in Wisconsin, and gratitude for all the new friends we have made along the way. The fulfillment comes from the joy of knowing this ministry has expanded, and has helped to spread the word that people need to stand for those who can’t stand for themselves.

I am really praying that the one God has been preparing for this ministry will surrender to His will and carry this ministry even further than I did.

I want to remind everyone that our essay contest ends January 31st. Our theme this year is “WHEN DOES LIFE BEGIN?” Check our web site www.bflw.org/essays for guidelines.

We will be having our quarterly board meeting for BFLW on December 11th at 10 AM. Pray that the Lord will direct the board in what we should focus on in the days ahead.

I again want to thank all of you for praying for Nancy and me these last 13+ years. It was obvious that God’s hand of protection was on us because of all those who were interceding for us. Please keep us in your prayers.

Have a happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.

In Christ,

Andrew K. Buhrow
Executive Director
