February 2021 Prayer Letter

II Timothy 4: 2a = “Preach the Word…” A young man that felt called to the ministry was agonizing over the tremendous responsibility of what he would preach about if he were given that responsibility. An older and experienced preacher encouraged him to ask the Lord. As he prayed he heard these words ringing in his ears, “Just tell them what I told you, don’t make it up yourself.” That’s great advice. As I write this, I am at the REFRESH conference at Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa. So far I have heard some tremendous Biblical messages that accurately explained the Word of God and edified the saints. I believe they were faithful in telling us what God had said. In this pro-life ministry I am finding people who claim to be chil-dren of God who are promoting the pro-choice (pro-death) position and trying to support it by saying that God agrees. I believe I can hear God crying out “I DO NOT AGREE”. I urge you to make sure your convictions are Biblically correct.
Nancy and I had a busy but blessed month of January. We were able to be in 4 churches and each one was a special blessing. Our message this year is on promoting and applauding adoption, and we have had an excellent response to the message. We were also able to attend a couple of the pregnancy center board meet-ings.
This month we are again scheduled to be in 4 churches. As I mentioned in my opening statement, we are attending the REFRESH conf. in Ankeny Iowa. It would be great if we could get something started in the State of Iowa to promote this ministry.
Our essay contest for 2020 is over and the new essay contest is now started. You can see the new theme and guidelines on our web site.
Our next pro-life rally will be April 17th, 2021 at Wyldewood Baptist Church in Oshkosh. Dr. David Gibbs will be our main speaker. Pray about what you can do as to bringing people and giving to this important ministry. We look forward to you coming and being a part of what we are doing.
On March 16th we will be having our annual meeting for BFLW via phone conference. Pray that the meeting will go well and that this ministry will be able to go forward.
Thank you for all your faithful support of this important ministry.
Yours for His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow—Executive Director—Baptists for Life of Wisconsin
