February 2025 Prayer Letter

Prayer Letters

I Corinthians 13:13= “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” February is considered by some to be the month of Love because of Valentines Day and I Corinthians 13 is considered the Love chapter of the Bible. We know the Greek word “agape” that is translated charity in the King James translation is the word God used in describing His love for us. In chapter 13 God goes to great length to tell us what real genuine love looks and acts like. It was the basis for all God did in relationship to man and should be the basis for how we act and respond to our fellow man. The conclusion in verse 13 is that faith and hope are important, but the one that will have the greatest impact and results is love. I trust that love is what motivates your actions as you deal with and relate to our God and our fellow man.

We are now into the new year a month already and there are a lot of exciting things happening. Our essay contest has ended and there are many essays turned in. Those in charge of judging the entries have them and will be letting us know who the winners are. Our winner will be able to read their essay at our rallies in April. Thanks to all who participated. Our theme for 2025 will be “WHEN DOES LIFE BEGIN?”

Coming up in March we will be having the annual business meeting for Baptists for Life of Wisconsin. This year it will be at Berea Baptist Church in Stevens Point on March 8th at 10:00 AM.

Continue to pray that the person that God has designated to be the director of this ministry will step forward so this ministry can continue. I agreed to continue serving as director until they find my replacement. I have 3 churches scheduled for February, 2 in March and 1 in April. I still enjoy sharing and speaking in churches. If you would like to have me come to your church please contact me at 608-780-4576. Pastor Ray Anderson 608-853-1171 and Terry Burlingame 414-312-0400 are also available.

Thank you all for your prayers and support of this important ministry.

In Christ,

Andrew K. Buhrow
