February 2026 Prayer Letter

Psalms 34:1 = “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” I don’t believe there is anyone who would be able to say this truthfully, but it ought to be our goal. Sadly most of us are guilty of reacting to our circumstances rather than responding. We often allow our situation to dictate our actions rather than the other way around. If we are going to bless the Lord at all times we need to purpose to do it and consider Gods’ will in every thing we do. Let’s focus on praising the Lord in everything we face today.
Our essay contest is officially over for 2025. Our new contest will be posted on our web site with the theme and the deadline. Thank you to all who participated this past year. The winners will be announced in the near future. I am including a flyer for next years’ essay contest.
We still do not have anyone willing to take over as the director of Baptists for Life of Wisconsin. I am acting as the director emeritus and maintaining a home office here in Sparta until we have a new director. You can still send your support here and I will see to it everything gets to where it is supposed to go. Please be in prayer for this ministry as I feel it is still needed in the days ahead. We do have some men on the board who are willing to come to your church and present the ministry of BFLW. Let me know if you would like one of them to come to your church. I do miss the blessings I enjoyed going to churches and meeting so many wonderful people, but I no longer felt my health enabled me to be able to serve at the level the ministry needed.
Our annual meeting for BFLW will be March 14th at Berea Baptist Church in Stevens Point at 10 AM. Pray that we will have someone willing to take over the leadership of this important ministry.
Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.
In Christ,
Andrew K. Buhrow
Executive Director
Baptists for Life of Wisconsin
