Feminism: The Most Destructive Ideology
It all started in the garden. Satan’s hatred for humanity was on full display. I’m convinced that Lucifer heard God’s warning: “…in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” (Genesis 2:17) The very first thing the devil does is to convince Eve to take from THAT tree. Eve. Lucifer wanted Eve dead. He targeted Eve. He targeted Eve because he understood Eve, and he understood Adam. I’m convinced that he studied “his enemy”, his target, before that faithful day in the garden. He knew who he could more easily deceive. He knew Eve would succumb to an emotional appeal. Even though it went contrary to God’s commands, and to her very nature.
Satan’s success rate is extraordinarily high. His techniques and targets have not changed much. Why change if you are this successful? He seeks to destroy. Apollyon literally means “Destroyer”. He wants to destroy individuals, yes. But he is after a much larger prize; civilization and society as a whole. Therefore, he must destroy the FAMILY, the building block of civilization. The mortar that holds society together. Satan, it should be noted, does not play fair. He will attack at the weakest point he can find (it makes strategic sense). He therefore has decided to attack what, biblically, is referred to as, the “weaker vessel”; our wonderful, beautiful, feminine women. The family is the target and women are the bullseye. And it is working!
This idea became crystal clear to me when I heard a podcaster make the statement that he believed that the most destructive ideology has been feminism. I know history, I have been teaching it to high school students for 37 years. I know Marxism inside and out. I know murderous ideologies when I see them. I understand the affect that Darwinism has had on the world in general, and Hitler, Stalin, etc. more specifically. This statement had me freeze in my intellectual tracks. OF COURSE IT IS!!! I never put it together until that very moment.
I know we are supposed to judge a prophet, or an ideology by it’s fruit. So what exactly has been the fruit of feminism? 73 million abortions worldwide, per year (World Health Organization estimate). This number beats Mao Zedong’s lifetime total…by quite a bit! Feminism’s results: hatred of men, hatred of motherhood, hatred of marriage, and a lot of hate-filled females (which are easy to manipulate for your political agenda, by the way). Happily married soccer moms are not trying to run down ICE agents like crazed lunatics. Consider who are the individuals on the streets of America protesting the enemy du jour? Lesbians, feminists, confused women (that call themselves trans-men). Dear, sweet females that have been lied to and manipulated by Satan’s minions, that’s who. Now we are faced with a mental health crisis of epic proportions. Also consider which demographic has the most mental health issues at this crazy time in US history? Young, liberal, single women. That is just some of the fruit of feminist theory.
I recall reading about the daughter of one of the leading figures of the early feminist movement in America. She faced angry rebukes by a distraught women, now in her 60’s, whom had bought into her mother’s feminist theories as a young women. Now, this aging woman is facing growing old alone. No husband, no children, no grandchildren. Just a lonely upscale townhouse. “Where are my grand kids?” she screamed at the feminist’s daughter. Sadly, this is more fruit of feminist theory. I wonder how many more are asking the same question, without lashing out and assaulting the innocent offspring of the radicals of the past? Where are my grand kids? Aborted…to flaunt your constitutional right? Or maybe took measures to avoid conception? It’s difficult to climb the corporate ladder with infants after all!
Stalin famously said, “One death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic.” I can’t fathom a number like 73 million abortions a year. My brain cannot begin to comprehend such a number. I can,much more easily, empathize with this woman that will never have grand kids to play with, a husband to grow old with, or children to watch grow into adulthood. Tragic.
There is a better design, ladies. It comes with you in mind. What you were meant to be. What will bring the most satisfaction and fulfill your innermost desires. It is found in God’s word. God’s perfect plan for your life. Not as a subordinate creature, but as a help meet. Equally created in God’s image, yet given an elevated role that you were specially created to fulfill. A beautiful role…a godly role. Wife, mommy, a completer and cheerleader for your husband! Don’t fall for Satan’s lies again. Did God really say this about women??? Yes, He did!
The Bible has a long range plan for all women, AND all men, and that is to live together with Him for all time. I Timothy 2:4 states “Who would have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” The knowledge, the truth that we must know is that because of our sin, we will NOT be with God forever. Our sin separates us from God. Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.” Now, the answer to this problem: God has made a way to take care of our sin, that which separates us from Him.
He sent Jesus to pay for our sins on the cross. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 All He asks of us is to BELIEVE this!
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
