July 2020 Prayer Letter

Mark 16:15 = “And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” There is a serious concern in our world today about the spread of a virus that might kill you. People are challenged to take precautions to avoid passing on this virus to others. It is implied that even casual contact can spread the virus.
Wouldn’t it be great if the “Good News” of salvation were spread this easily? That all we had to do is be in close contact to get people saved? Actually this verse implies that “As we go into the world ( because we will in the natural course of events) share the gospel.” Peter was led by God to put it this way In I Peter 3:15 = “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” If every Christian became more bold in sharing the good news of salvation, we could easily out-spread this virus.
Things are looking up as I was able to speak in 4 churches this past month and have 2 more scheduled for this month. I am also serving as chaplain at 2 race tracks in the area and Nancy and I will be hosting a family reunion at the end of the month. These are busy days indeed.
Next month we will be hosting a summit for all workers (or possible workers) at pregnancy centers Au-gust 21st and 22nd at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown. I have now secured all the speakers and am excited about what is planned. It will start at 1:00 PM on Friday, and end at noon on Saturday. There is no cost but we ask that you register by notifying me by August 10th so we have enough materials and provi-sions for everyone. You can contact me by phone (home) 608-269-3352, (cell) 608-780-4576, or by email info@bflw.org.
We are also planning to have our pro-life rally on Saturday, August 22nd at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown, with Dr. Les Olilla as our featured speaker. We would like to encourage you to consider taking an offering for Baptists for Life of Wisconsin, if you are not able to attend, to help this important ministry.
A special “THANK YOU’ to all who pray for and support this important ministry for the unborn.
In Christ,
Andrew K. Buhrow—Executive Director—Baptists for Life of Wisconsin
