July 2026 Prayer Letter

Prayer Letters

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” (Ps. 139:14).

First, allow me to introduce myself and my wife, although some of you may already know us or have heard of us. We are Ron and Tina Fruin, recently retired missionaries through Baptist World Mission. Even though we returned to the States from South Africa (our most recent field of ministry) at the end of May, we will officially be retired from foreign mission work at the end of June 2026.

The BFLW board recently voted for me to become the new Executive Director. We consider it a privilege and honor to serve in this capacity, and we look forward to ministering alongside you in this important and vital work for the Lord.

Second, I would like to thank the former Executive Director, Pastor Andrew Buhrow, for his many years of faithful and sacrificial service, though he insists it was no sacrifice. His dedication has greatly strengthened BFLW financially and advanced its mission by promoting its cause and proclaiming the Word.

It is obvious that we are just getting started on this new path that the Lord has for us, and we realize there is much to learn and do as we transition into this new role.  We admit it is all a bit overwhelming, but we look forward to establishing a schedule of visiting churches and pregnancy centers, as well as fulfilling other responsibilities. We eagerly anticipate meeting as many of you as possible through these opportunities and sharing our testimonies with you.

If you would like to schedule a church service or meet with us, please call or text me at (262) 599-4675 or email me at director@bflw.org.

Please pray for each of these pregnancy centers across our state of Wisconsin: Access in Madison, Agape in La Crosse, Alpha in Milwaukee, and Assurance in Appleton. After speaking briefly with the director at each center, I learned that the greatest current need is for clients. Over the past couple of years, they have seen a significant decline in the number of women coming to the centers, which has also affected the number of volunteers to help at the centers. Please pray that the Lord would work in the hearts of the women who are considering abortion and give them an awareness of these centers as places where they can find help and support. Please also pray for more volunteers, so each center can remain open when help is needed. While appointments are available, limited hours prevent some centers from welcoming walk-ins.Thank you for your faithfulness as well as for your prayers and support. Take care and God bless.

Serving the Saviour,

Ron Fruin
