I Corinthians 2:16 = “For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” One time, in my early days of being in the ministry, I had an encounter with a man who considered himself a Jehovah’s witness. He shared with me that if a person started reading the Bible with an open mind and no preconceived beliefs, he would come to the conclusion that the teachings of the Jehovah’s witnesses was true. According to the verse quoted at the beginning of this letter, if a person studies the Scriptures and is honest in his study, he will develop a clear and correct understanding of the Word of God and will see things from God’s point of view. By the way, I don’t think the conclusions that the genuine student of God’s Word will come to will be anything like what the Jehovah’s witnesses teach. I trust that I will allow the truths of Scripture to shape every belief and conviction that I hold.

The February weather has me a little confused. Normally this past month would have been a lot colder and snowier and I would be looking for an upward turn in temperature. Now I anticipate March and April to be a greater challenge weather-wise. This present weather has been a blessing as to ease of travel though. Nancy had cataracts removed in both eyes this past month and, after battling with vertigo for a couple of months, she has not had any problems with that for the last couple of weeks. My health has stayed about the same so I am able to do what needs to be done each week.

Our annual meeting for Baptists for Life of Wisconsin will be March 16th at 10:30 AM at Berea Baptist Church in Stevens Point, WI. If you are a member we would encourage you to come to the meeting. We will be setting the budget for the coming year.

We plan on having a summit for all present and prospective pregnancy workers on August 17th at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown. We plan on addressing counselling of abortion-minded clients and what centers can do in helping in the area of adoption. If you have any interest in the pro-life ministry, you ought to plan on being there.

We ended up with 42 essays for our contest. We now have 2 schools that are requiring their English students to write an essay. Thank you.

I have 4 churches scheduled for the month of March. Perhaps I will see you as I travel and present the ministry in your church.

Thank you for all your prayers and support for this important ministry.

In Christ,

Andrew K. Buhrow
