Marxist Socialism

For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets, …
and they shall know that I am the Lord. Ezek. 28:23.

 These words were spoken by Almighty God to the Prophet Ezekiel, who was instructed to inform the Old Testament city of Sidon that judgment was eminent. Furthermore, God made clear the main reason for bringing judgment upon the Sidonians for their sins.

 …and I will be glorified in the midst of thee; and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her. Ezek: 28:22.

 As I read these words recently, I was reminded of what has happened in our beloved nation in the past year; pestilence, and blood in the streets. As I am soon to reach my 79th year as a citizen of the greatest, freest, and most prosperous nation that has ever existed on planet earth, I stand astonished as I have viewed her rapid decline into chaos and ever advancing totalitarian Marxist Socialism. Karl Marx, an apostate, atheistic Jew, laid out his plan to free the “toiling masses” of humanity from the clutches of whom he saw as the greedy, oppressive middle and upper classes of society. He claimed the working class was being exploited, and called for the overthrow of existing governmental systems, and the establishment of what he called a “Dictatorship of the Proletariat.” The idea was to confiscate the wealth of these upper classes and redistribute it to those less fortunate. Other points of his plan included;

 1. Destruction of the family unit.

2. Abolition of private property.

3. Complete control of business and industry.

4. Complete control of money and credit.

5. Abolition of all religions.

6. Education of all children in public schools.

Does any of this sound familiar to us today? I would venture to say that the dreams of Mr. Marx are being fulfilled before our very eyes. Perhaps you are wondering what Marx advocated as the method by which his plan was to be implemented? The answer is violent revolution.

 As I pondered all this, I was reminded of the words of our Lord Jesus found in John 10:10a, The thief cometh not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I believe He had Satan in mind as He spoke, and how could it be denied that Marxist Socialism was demonically conceived? At this very moment our God given way of life is being assaulted by two openly avowed Marxist organizations, hell-bent on destroying by means of theft, and murder when necessary, our Constitutional Republic. I refer of course to Antifa and Black Lives Matter. We may rest assured that if a corrupt, Socialist Democrat Party is allowed to seize the reins of power, the hands of these destructive forces will be greatly strengthened. Allow me to quote Orwell, who described the totalitarian socialist regime of Big Brother as “A boot stamping on a human face, forever.”

Could it be that God may be allowing these subversive forces to florish in order to bring us as a nation to the place of self-examination and repentance? Our national sins are great and legion, but none could be greater and more detestable than the murder of close to 70 million of her tiny, helpless unborn citizens. I am reminded of the words of Thomas Jefferson when he wrote, “I tremble to think that there is a God in heaven, and that He is just.” Can we continue year after year killing the unborn, and not kindle the wrath of a just God, whose image they bear? Can it be that this Just God is sending pestilence, and blood in the streets to draw us back to Himself, and bring glory to his holy name?

We at Baptists for Life of Wisconsin, for the past 31 years, have been reaching out to snatch these little ones from destruction, and calling sinners to repentance. Friend, where do you stand with Almighty God? Have you received the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of the living and true God? Will you admit your spiritual poverty and acknowledge your sinful condition before this holy and just God. He sent His only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to die a cruel death on the cross of Calvary as your substitute, shedding His precious blood so that you might be freed from the penalty of your sin. Jesus came willingly to that horrible cross because He loved you and gladly took your place there. Are you willing to cast away your confidence in anything other than His perfect, once for all sacrifice for your sin? Have you been trusting in a worthless, man-made substitute for His precious blood, such as baptism, church membership, good works, or just “doing the best I can?” None of these things, as good as they seem to be, are good enough to satisfy the demands of a holy God. Please consider these bible warnings; Ezekiel 18:20a. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. Romans 3:10. As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one.

But friend, the God of all grace is full of mercy and compassion. He is willing that none should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2Peter 3:9. Will you trust His beloved Son as your personal substitute, Who loves you, and willingly bore your sins in His own body on the cross? Will you change your mind about sin, and see it as an affront to God and personally destructive? Will you believe that Jesus was buried after His death, and that He rose from the tomb on the third day? This is the essence of what the bible calls the glorious gospel of Christ. 2 Cor. 4:4. The Apostle Paul explained it this way, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 20:21. This is what God requires of you to be saved from eternal punishment in hell, and be born again spiritually into God’s family.

I came to Jesus Christ by faith nearly 49 years ago, and it was the greatest day of my life. I implore you in Jesus name, come to Him by faith just as you are, a needy sinner who desperately needs a Savior. Call to Him in prayer, He will hear you, and has promised to save you for it is written, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom. 10:13. Just pray this simple prayer; Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God, and that you died for me on the cross, and three days after you were buried you rose from the grave. Right now I receive you as my Savior, and ask that you will help me to live for you. Thank you for saving me. Amen. Friend, if you sincerely prayed that prayer be assured that it was heard in heaven and answered. Now, it is essential that you begin your new life in Christ by finding a bible preaching New Testament church and begin to attend regularly. Also, it is important that you tell another person what you have done. I know of no better listener than the pastor of the bible preaching Baptist Church in your area. We would be glad to direct you to such a church, so feel free to contact us for a recommendation.
