Psalms 56: 3 & 4 = “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise His word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” These are comforting words in this day and age of uncertainty and increasing turmoil. It’s good to know that our God is still in charge and orchestrating everything for our good and His glory.

April was a great month for the ministry of Baptists for Life of Wisconsin. Nancy and I were able to share the ministry with 3 churches, we were able to put up our display at the Ladies retreat in Green Lake, we had a great pro-life rally at Wyldewood Baptist Church in Oshkosh, I was able to attend the “Pastor’s Toolbox” at Camp Chetek, and I attended 3 pregnancy center board meetings. God was so good to give us safety as we traveled and we were blessed with the fellowship of many wonderful people. This year’s rally was one of the best attended and our offering was over $8,000, which is the best we have had.

On a personal note, I am seeing some improvement in my health situation. I know there are a lot of people praying for me and I am grateful for that. I am not out-of-the-woods yet, but I feel we are moving in the right direction.

I do have 4 churches scheduled for the month of May. It seems there is an increase in the covid-19 and some churches are again having to shut down. Let’s pray that we can get past this and move forward. It is interesting that if they would have closed the abortion clinics, we would have saved more lives than we would have lost. Pray that our elected officials will wake up to this and really become concerned with “saving” lives.

Several of our pregnancy centers are planning fund raisers this Summer. The Access Center in Madison is planning a “Walk for Life” on June 12th. They will be walking from the center to the planned parenthood building. They are looking for people to walk and for people to sponsor walkers. I am planning to walk, so if you would like to sponsor me, it would be appreciated. The Agape Pregnancy Resource Center in La Crosse is involved with the “Faster Pastor” race that will also be held that evening, June 12th. If there are any pastors out there that would like to participate, let me know.

Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.
