Matthew 2: 18 =“In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. Matthew is quoting from Jeremiah 31:15 where Jeremiah was reviewing the conditions in Israel after they had been brought into captivity. Many of their babies had been murdered. Now, here in Matthew’s account of the gospel, we are told of the slaughter of innocent babies in Bethlehem as Herod was seeking to destroy the Christ child.

Every student of the Word is aware of the many times in the Bible where men, through satan’s influence, have sought to destroy innocent babies. None of those attempts compare to the slaughter of innocents that has been going on in this nation in the last 49 years. Over 63,000,000 totally innocent people have not been allowed a chance at life. What a horrific tragedy.

The good news is, it looks like the Roe -V -Wade decision may be overturned this year. We know that won’t eliminate abortion, but it will remove the most ungodly decision our supreme court ever made.

This year, for the first time, BFLW held two pro-life rallies in the state. We would liked to have seen more people at our rallies, but we are appreciative for all those who made the effort to come. Our two rallies brought in a little over $4,000. Thank you all for your giving and support.

August 19th and 20th we will be hosting a summit for all present and potential pregnancy center workers. We intend to have at least one workshop on “Starting a pregnancy center in your church”. We do have some churches that are working on that at the present time and we are hoping more will consider it. Let us know if you are coming so we can prepare adequately.

I want to thank everyone that has been praying for me and my health issues. The new medication I have been taking this past month seems to be helping greatly and I am optimistic that I will be able to continue for a while longer. Please keep on praying.

Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.
