Romans 12:1 = “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

Two words that jump out at me as I read them this time were the words “Acceptable” and “Reasonable.” Presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice to God is accepted by God and “well pleasing” as that word is translated else ware (Phil. 4:18, Col. 3:20, Titus 2:9, and Hebrews 13:21). It’s also considered to be the “Reasonable” or logical thing to do. Because of what we receive when we put our trust in Jesus Christ as our Savior, it is not out of line for us to turn our life over to Him to do with us whatever He chooses to do. The other alternative is to expect God to do everything for us with no expectation of doing anything in return. When I am at the race track and the weather looks like it may terminate the races, I will have drivers tell me to pray that God will hold back the rain. I remember responding once by asking “What’s in it for God”? Will they be more faithful to Him, or even thank Him if He did? Seldom do we look for opportunities where we can make sacrifices for God.

Our pro-life rallies are again in the books. Thank you to all that came and supported the rallies either by attending our contributing to the cause. Thanks also to all that were involved for the great work you did. Our winner this year of the essay contest, Hunter Weakley had an amazing essay. It will be posted on our web site as the devotional in the future. Please take the time to read it.

Please continue to pray for our pregnancy centers. They all would like to see more clients and could all use more volunteers. Also pray for our Country and the future of laws that deal with life. It is repulsive to me that so many people are so determined to have the right to kill innocent human beings.

Thanks to all who have been praying for Nancy and me as we travel and present BFLW in churches across the State. My health is still a concern and it probably will be till the day the Lord takes me home. Pray I will be able to continue to the end of 2024. Also pray that the Lord will show us who should replace us that this ministry will be able to continue.

Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.

In Christ,
