John 8:59 = Then took they up stones to cast at Him: but Jesus hid Himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Andrew BuhrowAs I was reading my devotions this morning I happened to be on this portion of Scripture. I was reminded that Jesus was often criticized and opposed because He didn’t measure up to what people believed. Often it was those most concerned with their relationship with God. There is an old saying “My mind is made up. Don’t confuse me with the facts.” Sometimes people make conclusions about what they believe even though they might be wrong in how they interpret things. I pray that I will always be willing to be corrected by God if I’ve misinterpreted His Word.

When it comes to the issue of pro-abortion or pro-life I have no doubt where God stands. It is interesting that lately more “religious” leaders are supporting abortion as an acceptable practice and defending it. The God of the Bible created life, He valued life, and pronounced a sever judgement on anyone who destroyed a life. Genesis 9:6 = Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He man.

October was a busy month for us. I again took the display of BFLW to the WACS meeting in Wisconsin Dells for two days, Nancy and I were involved in two rallies for the Agape Pregnancy Resource Center in La Crosse, we attended the fellowship meeting for the WARBC, attended two pregnancy center board meetings, and spoke in two churches. I also spent 4 days at the La Crosse speedway for their annual Octoberfest races topping off that weekend with a service at the track.

I would like to encourage everyone to consider supporting this ministry with registering BFLW for your “Smile” account with Amazon. It would be a great help to us. The Lord has been good to us financially so we are in better shape, but we still could use more funds so we could move forward on expanding the ministry.

I can’t emphasize enough the importance of voting November 6th. I believe our nation is at the point where this election will determine how long we will survive. I don’t have to spend a lot of time studying the candidates position on a lot of issues. I am a one issue voter. If a candidate believes it’s okay to murder a person in the womb, then he or she will not value my life either. The issue is justifying the destruction of anyone who might stand in their way to what they feel is important to them. I might be their next target.

I trust the Lord will give you a blessed Thanksgiving with your loved ones and that you will take the time to give thanks to God for all He has done for you.

In His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow
