“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: … He hath made everything beautiful in His time”

Ecclesiastes 3:1 and 11a

In the book of Esther we read how Haman had plotted to exterminate the Jews because of his hatred for Mordecai and devised a plan to that end. Mordecai appealed to Esther to intercede to the king on her people’s behalf and makes this statement in Esther 4:14 = “For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

You and I are here at this time in history because God has ordered it to be so. We all have a purpose and that purpose is to glorify God. For each of us that will be different but always with the same goal. I believe one purpose all of us ought to be involved, in some way, is with speaking up and defending those unable to speak and defend themselves, the unborn. Like Mordecai said to Esther, if we don’t do it, God will get someone else and we will lose our chance. This may be the reason you are here at this time in history.

Nancy and I had a very busy October and are thankful our health enabled us to carry out all our re-sponsibilities without interruptions. I was able to preach at 4 churches, have a chapel service at the race track, attend a pregnancy center fund raising picnic, attend a Baptist fellowship annual meeting, attend 3 pregnancy center board meetings, and preach at 2 funerals. At the Assurance Center board meeting I was voted on to their board and so now I am officially on all 4 of them.

I have 4 churches lined up for November, one pregnancy center board meeting, a banquet for one of the center’s, and deer hunting. I have appreciated all the prayers for Nancy and my health. I believe it is because of your prayers that I have been able to keep going. Please keep us in your prayers.

I want to remind you about our essay contest. The deadline is January 31st, 2022. Our theme this year is “WHY PLANNED PARENTHOOD SHOULD BE DEFUNDED” Please encourage your young people in 9th—12th grades to participate.

Next year we are planning 2 rallies. On April 23rd we will be at Calvary Baptist Church in Water-town at 1 PM and on April 30th we will be at Immanuel Baptist Church in Menomonie at 1 PM. Dr. Les Ollila will be the main speaker. We will be sending our flyers to advertise this in the near future.

I want to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and trust you will take the time to reflect on all that you have to be thankful for. We have a great God who is good all the time.
