October 2022 Prayer Letter

Psalms 139:16 = “Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in Thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”
In this verse David is acknowledging that God knew all about him even before he
was born. Actually when he was just a blob of cells. God was going to make him to
be able to do everything God had intended David to do. This is something I reminded
my children often. Some of us were born with certain limitations, but none of us
were born without the ability to do what God designed us for. Praise the Lord for
that.
September has been a very busy month as we spoke in four churches, attended a
fellowship of churches annual meeting, and attended two pregnancy center fund raisers.
I was also able to attend a men’s retreat and fellowship with men from our state.
October will be another busy month as we have four more churches scheduled for
the month and one church fellowship meeting. Three of our four pregnancy centers
will be having their board meetings as well and I will be closing out the racing season
with a four day racing venue that includes a church service at the track as well.
Please be in prayer as we will be looking for someone to take over this ministry
after next year. I have notified the board of BFLW that I will be stepping down as
the director of BFLW at the end of 2023. We would like to have someone in place by
July of next year to work with me so that the ministry will continue without any drop
off. I have been serving in this ministry for ten years and have really enjoyed being
used of the Lord in this capacity, but now it is time for a younger person to move the
ministry forward.
Please encourage your high school young people to get involved in our essay contest.
The guidelines are on our web site and the deadline is January 31st, 2023.
Pray for the up coming elections this Fall. The future of our country is at stake
and, in this state, the abortion issue and the future of our education system will be
deciding factors. Prayerfully consider what God would have you do and who you
should vote for.
Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.
In Christ,
Andrew K. Buhrow
