October 2026 Prayer Letter

“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;” Ephesians 4:14
It is a privilege to serve with Baptists For Life of Wisconsin. September was a busy month: we had meetings at five churches, participated in three board meetings, a fundraiser, and represented BFLW at the WFBC annual conference.
October promises to be another busy month. We are scheduled for four church meetings, three board meetings, another fundraiser, a mission conference, the WARBC annual conference, and the WACS conference. Please pray that the Lord will use us as He sees fit, that souls will be saved, and that lives will be changed. Please also pray for traveling mercies and safety.
Please also pray for me as I continue trying to expand my knowledge of the pro-life movement in particular and the sanctity-of-life movement as a whole, so that I may represent BFLW effectively and faithfully.
As I have read various materials, I have been reminded that while most people have an opinion about abortion rights, many do not fully understand the range of perspectives. Much of the population receives liberal viewpoints from secular media that can distort the truth. Coverage often describes pro-life groups negatively as “anti-abortionists,” while portraying supporters of abortion rights more favorably as “pro-choice,” without considering the unborn child’s choice. One example is the coverage of two demonstrations held in Washington, D.C., nearly a year apart. About 125,000 people attended the pro-choice rally, but media reports claimed 300,000. An estimated 300,000 attended the pro-life rally, yet one news network reported only 60,000. The day after the pro-choice rally, the Washington Post featured the rally on its front page and published at least twelve positive stories about it, while the pro-life rally received a single article on page three of the second section the day after its rally.
My prayer and hope are that we faithfully attend our local churches, where the preaching and teaching of God’s Word by our pastors and teachers equip us for maturity (Eph. 4:11–13). As Christians, we are responsible for exposing darkness and shining the light of truth. Although we cannot control the liberal media, we can stand for truth and make a difference one life at a time.
Thank you for your faithfulness, prayers, and support. Take care, and God bless.
