Esther 4:14b—…”Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?’ We are familiar with the context of this passage. Esther has just been told of Haman’s plot to destroy her people. Esther was reluctant to intercede for fear of her own life. Mordecai replies with this statement.

Andrew BuhrowHave you thought about what your purpose is for being where you are and whether you are fulfilling that purpose in the way you are living? I tend to believe that all the experiences the Lord led me through prepared me for the ministry I have now. I pray daily that my ministry will accomplish what God intended it to accomplish.

March was a time to get some repairs done on my body (tooth extracted and eye surgery), our annual board meeting, and attending the “Men for Christ’ rally in Iowa. Now, in April we will be having our Pro-Life rally at Faith Baptist Church in Oak Creek on the 22nd, I will be attending 3 pregnancy center’s board meetings, and speaking in 4 churches. It’s also the month where we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior.

The results of our essay contest are in. Two of the winners were from Ohio. In fact, the first place went to a young lady from Cleveland. She won’t be coming to our rally but we will have a video of her reading her essay. Aiden Hunter from Wisconsin Dells was the only participant in our video contest this year, so he will automatically receive first prize in that. Our new theme for the video and essay contests is “All lives matter to God”. I am trying to schedule Christian school chapels to encourage more students to participate. If you would like to have me speek to your students, let me know.

As a result of the election, the following people were elected for a two year term on the board of BFLW. They are: Pastor Rick Rogers, Pastor Jason Brenenstuhl, Julaine Appling, Pastor Tom Loggans, and Pastor Eric Buhrow. It does concern me that only 8 people voted in this election meaning that not even all my board members voted. We still plan to have a summit for all the pregnancy center workers at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown August 11th and 12th. Pray that we would have a profitable summit. I am working on the possibility of setting up our own adoption program. We hope to deal with that at our summit.

Continue to pray for our finances. At our annual meeting we set a budget that will require us to raise more funds to carry out our plans. Pray that the Lord will direct us to do what He desires, and that all we do brings glory to Him.

Thank you for all your prayers on our behalf.

In His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow
