Job 23:10 = “But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Recently I ran across a note in facebook that said “ The good news is I’ve made it to my golden years. The bad news is… there ain’t no gold.” As I read the above verse of Scripture I was reminded that though I might not be so special in this world, and I may not accomplish or accumulate everything that I’d like, as a child of God I have a future with God that is very special. Because of that I want to spend the rest of my life doing what I can to see to it others are aware of that and have a chance to be tried by God and come forth as gold also.

Andrew BuhrowRight now we are at a time with this ministry when things aren’t quite so busy. We had our rally back in April, we hosted the summit for our pregnancy centers is June, and schools are out so I am not able to speak in their chapels. We are working with the people of Watertown about starting a center there and I do have a Pastor in Eagle River that is interested in starting a center. I also want to revise our video contest to involve Christian schools or church youth groups. Hopefully we will have that done for next years contest.

The Lord has blessed the ministry so that we are a little better off financially but we could use more support so that we could expand this ministry. All of our pregnancy centers could use more support and more volunteers. The Agape Pregnancy Resource Center in La Crosse has both ladies that served as receptionists at the center needing to step down for a time. One just had a new baby and the other is facing cancer surgery.

We need to be in prayer for the confirmation of President Trump’s selection for Supreme Court Justice. He is pro– life and may be what is needed to overturn Roe vs. Wade. It will then be up to individual States as to what they will do. Wisconsin already has laws concerning this but they will be challenged I’m sure.

Some very practical things we should be aware of and doing is: Keeping aware of what is going on in Madison as to pro-life bills that are being considered and contacting your elected officials to let them know where you stand, and also getting your “Choose Life” license plates to let people know where you stand and to help pregnancy centers promote alternatives to abortion.

Thank you for all your support of this ministry by your prayers and financial giving. May the Lord richly bless you as you labor for Him.

In His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow
