I was reminded by the Lord as I read the 23rd Psalm as part of my devotions this morning that with the Lord as the Shepherd of my life I will be provided everything I need to live in this world. In Romans 2:28 we are also reminded that the Lord is orchestrating everything that has to do with us in such a way that it will all benefit us in the long run. In Philippians 1:21 we are reminded that when we are living we are to be representatives of Christ, but we will be even better off when we leave this earth and are with the Lord in eternity. What an awesome comfort as we get older.
January is always a busy month for me as director of BFLW. This is the month we recognize as the month we legalized murder of innocent people. In the last 43 years some 60,000,000 innocent lives have been executed legally in the United States of America. I was able to speak in 6 churches during the month, deliver a booklet containing the signatures of over 1400 people of our State to the elected officials in Madison, and attend the board meetings of 3 of our centers. I am excited that this past election seems to have given the pro-life movement a greater opportunity for us to stand up, speak out, and to make some progress to establish some protection for those still in the womb. While at Madison delivering our booklets I met Julaine Appling busy at work helping some of our elected officials draft legislation that will be pro-family and pro-life. I do appreciate all the work she does there in Madison.
We ended up with over 40 essays for our contest and will hope to have the winner present their essay at our pro-life rally on April 22nd. I only had one video again this year. I want to remind everyone about our Rally. It will be at Faith Baptist Church, 8519 S 13th St., Oak Creek, WI 53154 at 2:00 PM. We are again asking everyone to bring a package of diapers (new) so you can bury me in diapers. Julaine Appling will be our main speaker, the Faithmen Quartet will provide special music and we will be giving some gas cards out in a drawing. Please plan on coming.
I have updated my itinerary on our web site so you might pray for me as I travel. I appreciate all the pastors who have been willing to have me come and for all those who have had me come more than once. In June I will have finished 5 years being the director of BFLW and can honestly say I am still very much enjoying being in the churches of Wisconsin representing BFLW and serving the Lord.
For all of you individuals and churches that support this ministry I want to say thank you and remind you that this month you will be receiving an election ballot for the election of half the board of BFLW. Please take the time to vote. Your vote is a reminder to me that you care about this ministry and its future.
Thanks again for all your prayers and support in so many ways. May the Lord richly bless you as you labor for Him.
In His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow
