Psalms 39:4 = “Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.”

As I get older I realize how frail and vulnerable I am. My habit is to read the obituaries to see how old people were when they died. There always seems to be people older than me and people younger than me listed. I have reached the “Three-score-and-ten” mark and know that my days on earth are getting fewer in number all the time. It is in verse 7 of this Psalm that David makes his conclusion. “My hope is in Thee.” I know whatever God has for me it’s what is best for me and that my future is secure with God through Jesus Christ. I pray that I will keep available for His use until He choses to take me home.

Andrew BuhrowWe have some pro-life bills in the State Senate and Assembly that need to get on the docket to be voted on and passed. SB 423 and SB 424 need to be voted on. You need to contact Senator Van Wanggaard at 608-266-1832 and Senator Scott Fitzgerald at 608-266-5660 and tell them you want them to be voted on. You also need to contact your Senator to let them know where you stand and that these are important to you. They have to do with the sale and use of baby body parts in our State.

Our new essay and video contests are underway and the new deadline will be May 1st, 2019. This will give me the whole school year to promote them in school chapels. The new theme for both is “What Does It Mean to Be Human?” You can get the guidelines from our web site.

I will be sending along a flyer for our upcoming rally at Wyldewood Baptist Church in Oshkosh. Please download and invite people to come. It will be April 21st at 1:00 PM. David Gibbs will be the speaker.

I am pretty well set for meetings through the end of July. If you would like me to come and present Baptists for Life of Wisconsin in your church I do have dates in August, September and November.

On a personal note, Nancy and I were thankful that we had the opportunity to care for my folks in their last years of life. It is comforting to know they are now with or Savior. It is also a blessing to be able to have Nancy travel with me to services on weekends. I know she will be a blessing to the ladies and especially to pastors’ wives.

Thank you for all your prayers and support of this vital ministry.

In His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow
