June was another busy, but exciting month for Nancy and me. We spoke in 5 churches during the month, had our quarterly board meeting for BFLW, and will have conducted a summit for our pregnancy workers by the time you get this letter.
At our board meeting we were encouraged by the financial report. Our treasurer said he didn’t have to be so concerned about whether he had finances to cover our expenses and that was a blessing. There is still much to be done.
Though I am scheduled through the end of February of next year as to my Sunday schedule, I would like to schedule speaking in school chapels to promote Baptists for Life of Wisconsin and our essay and video contests. If you have a Christian school and would like me to come, please let me know. We are working on revising our video contest for the following year to get Christian schools and church youth groups involved on a monthly basis if possible. I would appreciate your prayers in this matter.
I am working with Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown to start a pregnancy center there. There is the possibility of a building opening up to house the center along with their addictions program. Pray that we can get that organized and get other area churches involved. The more centers we have operating the more babies we can rescue from being murdered.
All of our centers could use more volunteers and more financial support. Some of our faithful workers are elderly but are still faithful. One of the volunteers at the Agape Pregnancy Resource Center just learned she has cancer. Her name is Diane Brown. Pray for the Lord’s will to be done. She has a son that is not saved. Perhaps the Lord will use this to bring him to the Lord.
Thank you for all your prayers and support for this important ministry. Nancy and I count it a privilege to serve the Lord in this way.
