Psalms 139:14 = “I will praise thee for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”
The miracle of birth is always a marvel to me. This Summer two of my grand daughters will be having babies (The two that were in the Buhrow group that sang at the rally). It amazes me the attention to detail that God does in making a baby.
I had another busy month of April. I will have been in 3 churches in the month, (would have been in 4 if not for the snow on the 15th). I attended 3 pregnancy center board meetings, spoke in a school chapel, met with some pastors in the Watertown area about starting a pregnancy center there, and hosted a pro-life rally. Final figures are not in yet on how big an offering we received at the rally but the total was around $4000. We praise the Lord for all who attended and participated.
I am encouraged that the financial situation at Baptists for Life of Wisconsin is doing better so we are able to stay current with our expenses. I would encourage everyone to pray about the finances of the Assurance Center in Appleton. If you could take a special offering for them in your church, that would be great. Sarah Weitlich, the new director is doing an awesome job but needs funds to continue the ministry. Pray about what you can do.
On June 30th I will be hosting a summit for all our pregnancy workers at Wyldewood Baptist Church in Oshkosh from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Because of the speakers and the lunch we will be providing we will have to charge $20 per person. If any one would like to help us out with the cost of the summit so that we could reduce the cost to the attendees let me know. I am sure it will be appreciated
Please be in prayer about the future of a pregnancy center in Watertown. Hopefully we can host a dinner for area pastors to see what the interest is and proceed with a plan. If you are interested in being involved please let either Dean Kurtz at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown or me know.
Thank you for all your prayers for this ministry. There is much that can be and must be done. Pray that we all will do as much as we can.
In His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow
