II Chronicles 10:15 = “So the king hearkened not unto the people for the cause was of God, that the Lord might perform His word,…”. The context of this verse is the time after King Solomon had died and his son, Rehoboam was going to be the new king. The people wanted Rehoboam to lighten up on them. His elder advisers encouraged him to listen to the people, but his young friends suggested he make things even tougher. He took the advice of the young men and, as a result 10 of the tribes rebelled and chose another king. The nation of Israel under King Solomon had been going in the wrong direction. Now the Lord was going to deal with them about that and split the kingdom. In those days the control of the kingdom was solely in the hands of the king.

Andrew BuhrowToday, in the United States our country is governed by the people through people we elect to represent us. It’s the people that supposedly elect people that think the way they do and want what they want. I believe how the people vote in this midterm election will reveal what God’s plan is for the United States in the near future. We have legalized murder, we have legitimized homosexual behavior, we have even supported people rebelling against God as to what gender He made them. Will He harden the hearts of enough voters to elect representatives to take us farther down the road to moral destruction? I have appreciated the direction our present President has taken us, but I am appalled by the opposition he has incurred in doing so. It’s obvious there it a vocal group wanting to push our Country in an ungodly way. This coming election will declare whether they are winning or not. PLEASE VOTE!!!!!!!

The Lord has been blessing the ministry of Baptists for Life of Wisconsin. We have been busy presenting the work in churches around the state. I spoke in 4 churches during the month of September and attended 2 fund raisers for 2 of our centers. It’s always encouraging to see new people see the need for this ministry and come on board either with their prayer support or financially.

I would like to come to Christian Schools, speak in their chapels, and encourage their students to enter our essay and video contests. Let me know if you have a Christian School and would like me to come.

The pregnancy center in Watertown seems to be getting closer to being a reality. If you live in that area and are interested in being involved, contact the people at Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown and let them know.

I am planning to meet with folks in the Eagle River area about starting something there. If you live in that area and want to get involved, contact Pastor Greg Robotti. We plan to have a meeting on December 8th there.

I appreciate all the faithful prayer warriors that lift us up to the throne of Grace each week. Nancy and I feel very blessed to have your support for this important ministry.

In His Service,
Andrew K. Buhrow
