Psalms 127:1 =“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Normally when people who are speaking on pro-life issues refer to this chapter in Psalms their attention is on the last three verses talking about how special children are in God’s eyes. The truth is, however, that if God is not an important part of the home, all efforts to establish a worthwhile home are in vain. The word “vain” here means useless and even morally destructive. It’s time we have our homes established with God at the center and the basis of all we do. Too often we focus on what we can do and still be okay even to the point of defending some questionable practices. Our concern should be on what is the best way we can live the Christian life and represent our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
It has been good that Nancy and I are able to again be in churches sharing the ministry of Baptists for Life of Wisconsin. Our schedule is now full through February of next year. I want to say thank you to some churches that took up a special offering for this ministry to encourage us when we had cancelled our pro-life rally. The Lord has been good to us.
Nancy and I are pretty well recovered from the covid-19 virus. She still has some issues regulating her blood pressure and kidney function, but is getting that under control. I am pretty well back to full strength. Thank you so much for praying for us. We know our God is a prayer answering God and He did respond for us.
I can’t emphasize enough the importance of voting in the November election. We know that according to the Bible this world is on a downward path to destruction. I believe our Nation is at a crossroads and this election will expose how close to that destruction we are by what the majority of the people want. Vote Biblically meaning vote for those whose platform best identifies with what the Bible says.
The Lord bless you and please keep praying for this important ministry.
Thank you for all your support for this important ministry.
