Psalms 133:1 = “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” Couple that verse with Matthew 18:19 = “Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” It is obvious that God desires, promotes and expects there to be unity amongst His people. He even raised up the local church so we would have an organized place to carry out this spirit of unity with other believers.

On the other hand, Satan is the author of disunity and conflict. Because God is the originator and sustainer of life, we would expect all of his followers to be pro-life as well. In fact, it ought to be a position we rally around. I trust everyone knows where you stand on this important issue.

With the coming Fall season and the start of another school year come a lot of busy activities for many of us. It’s time to encourage our high school students to get involved in our essay contest. This years’ theme is “Being Pro-Life and Christlike”. The deadline is January 31st, 2024. You can download the information and guidelines from our web sight, www.bflw.org/essays.

Continue to pray about someone to replace me as director of BFLW. I believe this is an important ministry that needs to continue to present pro-life issues in our State.

Be in prayer for our State and for the political activity going on. There is a concerted effort to overturn our law banning abortion in most cases. As a result of the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, thousands of babies have been allowed to be born that would have been murdered. There are many people working to change laws so they can return to killing the innocent. The only thing needed for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.

On a personal note, as I write this prayer letter, I have been experiencing a lot better health in the last few days and I am very grateful. Please keep praying that I will be able to continue until the end of 2024. I have my schedule set until March of next year. I would be glad to present this ministry in your church one more time if you would allow me.

Thank you for all your prayers and support of this important ministry.

In Christ,

Andrew K. Buhrow
