Thanks be to God

This devotional is twofold: Thanks to the Lord for His goodness and blessing to us all for all that He has done for us and thanks to the Lord for BFLW and the Buhrows.

I am thankful for the great salvation we have in the Lord Jesus Christ. II Corinthians 9:15 “Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift. I am also thankful for Him working in our lives each day. I Samuel 12:24 “Only fear the Lord and serve Him in truth with all your heart, for consider how great things he has done for you. “What a blessing to serve the Lord for over 5 1/2 years I have been filling pulpits for churches without pastors all across Wisconsin. It is a blessing to meet God’s people and to preach and teach the word of God. Please pray for these churches that God and his timing will bring the right pastors.

I praise the Lord for the ministry of BFLW. It has been a great blessing to be on the board of the  BFLW for many years and to see God work in the four centers and the AIM programs. Thank you to the directors and volunteers for your faithful service.

I have known Andy and Nancy Buhrow for over 25 years.  They both have a love for the Lord and a  heart for God. Andy pastored Temple Baptist Church in Lacrosse for many years and has been director of BFLW since Gene Green resigned. Under Andy’s leadership we have seen God’s blessing on this ministry. He has presented the ministry to many churches and he will be hard to replace.

Pray that God will bring the right man to lead this important ministry. God will provide!

Thank you Andy and Nancy for your faithfulness to ”sanctity of life” and BFLW. Well done thou good and faithful servants. We love you very much.
