We Are Blessed

It is an understatement that 2020 has been a crazy year for all of us! We know that in the midst of a pandemic and an uncompleted presidential election, God is still on the throne. Our hearts go out to those who have suffered the Covid 19 virus. We praise the Lord for all that He has done for us. Let’s be reminded of 4 blessings that God has given us.
1. The blessing of salvation – “But thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift.” 11 Cor. 9:15 We are blessed to have a Savior who loves us and died for our sins on the cross of Calvary. We serve a risen Savior, who is in the world today, reaching out to save lost sinners.
2. The blessings of serving – ” Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Cor.15:58 There is so much joy in serving the Lord! The Lord wants our very best, not the left-overs!
3. The blessings of the sanctity of life – ” I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” Ps. 139:14 Thank you to those who have given their lives to protect the unborn. And thank you President Trump for standing up for life!
4. The blessing of seeing our dear Savior – ” Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thes. 4:17 The next event on God’s prophetic calendar is the rapture of the church. It could happen at any moment! It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus!
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
